I am Vijay Amarnath. I was born near Munnar -India. surrounded by chilled tea estates. I Have studied and raised in Chennai, after my completion of fine arts degree BFA in 1996 i am working in various visual medium like television and film for the past 14 years .

Presently I am working as a Creative Head in Minveli Media Works.
 
  Previously I worked as an Associate creative head  in ARENA MULTIMEDIA (Anna Nagar) there am directing student films from script to screen.
 
Before "Arena Multimedia" I worked as a Creative Director in NADHI STUDIOS there am directing animation content
 
 Before "Arena Multimedia" I worked in a Visual EFX company named "INDIAN ARTIST". My nature of the job over there is to taking care of the studio, meeting the clients, attending the shoots, split the work to the animators and to the compositors. I had a great experience of meeting and interacting with different set of creative people from the background of film and video industry.

Before "INDIAN ARTIST" I worked with a veteran Tamil film director "Mr. Balu Mahendra" who has won "Nation Award" for five times. He is a writer & cinematographer cum director.
I started as an assistant director and then finally worked as an associate director for a period of four years. I worked a feature length movie and two short films. It's a remarkable time for me in my lifetime because in this period of time I watched more than 200 hundred movies like from short films to classical films. My favorites are Kurosawa and kubric and unfamed world directors.

Before "Indian Artist" I worked in a company called "Studio FPS" organized by a Visual FX director Trotsky Marudhu who is an artist having an experience of 25 years in the field of film and media.
I worked in the area of VFX for three films and we have done so many promos for Vijay TV, which is a part of Star TV net work.

Before working in the "Studio FPS" I worked in a company called "Dataquest". I am one of the 25 members of that scratch team in that company. My main contribution for that company is the logo "Mascot" design. I have done some storyboards and cell animations for their pilot projects.

Before "Dataquest" I worked in a company called "Millitoon" it s part of "Millimages- France". I worked as a key animator and we have completed so many episodes like
    "Pense Bets" - French TV Serial (about 60 episodes).
    'Celestin' - French TV Serial (40 episodes).
    'Red Fox' - French TV Serial (60 episodes).
    'Vampire Pirate and Aliens' - English TV Serial.
  I had a great experience while handling on these foreign episodes project.

And then I worked in "Pentafore" as a senior animator and as a team lead for a set 10 animators. In that time I handled some animated storybooks and Disney's pilot projects.

And in my college time to support myself economically I worked as a visualizer for an advertising agency, and as a multimedia artist for Multimedia Company and as an illustrator for some magazines.
